Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Server/Bartender to join our vibrant team. Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently
- Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner to enhance their experience
- Operate POS systems such as Square POS for order processing and cash handling
- Manage cash transactions, including cashiering duties and ensuring proper cash handling procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations during shifts
- Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and adherence to safety policies
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and high-quality customer interactions
- Follow all food handling, safety, and sanitation protocols to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff
Skills
- Proven experience in restaurant or food service environments, especially in bartending roles
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS and cashiering procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally
- Effective time management skills to handle multiple orders during busy periods
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, change calculation, and order totals
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Familiarity with the food industry trends, hospitality practices, and serving etiquette
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members
