What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Leading and coordinating industrial painting crews
- Planning daily production and sequencing work effectively
- Ensuring coating specs and QA/QC requirements are met
- Managing productivity while maintaining quality and safety
- Training and mentoring apprentices and journeymen
- Coordinating with project managers, inspectors, and other trades
- Building and maintaining strong crews across multiple projects
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of industrial painting experience
- 2+ years in a lead hand, foreman, or supervisory role
- Strong understanding of industrial coatings systems and surface prep standards
- Ability to read specs, ITPs, and drawings
- Proven leadership and communication skills
- Experience in shipyard, marine, or heavy industrial environments preferred
- AMPP/NACE or coating inspection knowledge is an asset
Compensation & Benefits
- $48.00 – $57.00 per hour
- Employer-paid benefits
- $6.00/hour pension
- 12% vacation/stat pay
