Sales Associate
We're a hardware store, and we're looking for someone who can help a customer figure out the right fastener, the right paint, or the right fix — and send them home with what they actually need. If you're handy, good with people, and happy to learn the aisles, we want to talk to you.
What you'll do
- Help customers find the right product and solve the problem they walked in with, whether that's a leaky faucet or a half-finished deck
- Know your way around the departments — tools, plumbing, electrical, paint, lumber, lawn and garden — or be willing to learn them fast
- Suggest the extra parts a job needs so customers aren't back in an hour for the one thing they forgot
- Run the register accurately, including cash and card payments
- Keep shelves stocked, faced, and organized, and help with cutting keys, mixing paint, or loading heavy items as needed
- Answer questions in person and over the phone
- Help with restocking, receiving, and inventory counts
- Pitch in with your team to keep the floor running
What you need
- Retail or customer service experience; hardware, trades, or DIY knowledge is a big plus
- Clear communication, in person and on the phone
- Comfort with a register, cash handling, and quick mental math
- The ability to stay organized and keep moving during busy shifts
- Willingness to lift, stock, and be on your feet most of the shift
- A reliable, team-first attitude

Pay: $15.00-$20.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
