Job Summary
JennAir Experience Centre is hiring a Restaurant Utility Associate to support daily kitchen and food service operations by maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary environment. This role is responsible for dishwashing, cleaning kitchen equipment, assisting with food preparation, stocking supplies, and providing general kitchen support to ensure efficient restaurant operations and compliance with food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, cookware, utensils, trays, and kitchen equipment
- Operate commercial dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently
- Clean and sanitize kitchen workstations, food preparation areas, storage rooms, and service stations
- Assist with basic food preparation, ingredient setup, and portioning as needed
- Restock clean dishes, kitchen supplies, food items, and utensils
- Remove trash, recycling, and food waste while maintaining sanitation standards
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures
- Support cooks and kitchen staff during meal preparation and service
- Report equipment malfunctions or supply shortages to supervisors
- Perform additional kitchen utility and cleaning duties assigned by management
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in restaurant, food service, kitchen operations, or dishwashing is an asset but not required
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to cleanliness and organization
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Experience operating commercial dishwashing equipment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
