HET Journeyman Truck & Trailer Mechanic
We are currently looking for HET Journeyman Truck and Trailer Mechanics with CVIP License for our Edson Shop to maintain, repair and overhaul commercial transport trucks and devices connected to or moved by a power unit such as flat decks, boosters, jeeps, steering dollies, dump trailers and other commercial pull type devices.

Responsibilities:
- Lubricate, service, diagnose, repair, assemble and maintain equipment and perform other routine maintenance work
- Ensure repairs and maintenance follow all provincial and federal transportation safety regulations and guidelines
- Follow the safety program, including all policies, procedures and practices
- Complete work orders upon completion of each job
- Ensure the shop is maintained and clean
What we look for:
- Strong aptitude for diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance
- Commercial Transport (Truck and Transport Mechanic) Journeyman Certificate (or Red Seal)
- Heavy Truck and Trailer subject matter expert
- Self-starter able to work in a fast-paced, detailed, and process-driven environment
- Ability to work in a physical capacity, including heavy lifting and using tools throughout the shift
- Must have own tools (required tool list will be provided)
- Class 5 driver's license
- Class 1, Class 3, and MVI Certifications are a bonus
We are a certified AMVIC & CVIP repair facility
CVIP License an asset
