Analog Mechanical is hiring experienced Red Seal journeyperson plumbers and gas fitters for commercial and multi-family projects across Calgary and the surrounding area. If you hold a Red Seal - or an Alberta Journeyman ticket with strong commercial experience - read on.
WHY YOU'LL WANT THIS ROLE
Home by 11 AM every Friday. Mon-Thu 6:30 AM-3:45 PM, Fri 7:00 AM-11:00 AM - a short Friday every week, not just sometimes.
$44-52/hour depending on experience, plus 1.5x overtime.
Dual-ticket pays more - premium pay for Red Seal + Gas Fitter holders.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Real commercial plumbing - not service calls, not residential renos. On Analog's job sites you'll be:
Installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing and mechanical systems on commercial and multi-family construction (new builds, office-to-residential conversions, tenant improvements).
Reading blueprints, plans, specifications, and mechanical drawings.
Roughing in and finishing plumbing on multi-storey commercial and residential builds.
Installing gas lines, boilers, hydronic systems, and mechanical room equipment.
Troubleshooting mechanical issues on active construction sites.
Meeting Alberta building codes, safety, and quality standards.
Completing daily Field Level Hazard Assessments.
Mentoring apprentices and supporting crew productivity.
Coordinating with other trades on shared sites.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Required:
Red Seal Journeyperson Plumber, or Alberta Journeyman Plumber with strong commercial experience.
Minimum 3 years commercial or multi-family construction plumbing (not just residential service).
Valid driver's licence and clean driving record.
Comfortable reading blueprints, mechanical drawings, and specifications.
Will help you stand out (and pay more):
Gas Fitter B - preferred; dual-ticket holders earn premium pay.
Boiler installation and maintenance.
Hydronic heating systems.
Mechanical room installation.
Multi-storey commercial builds (hospitals, condos, office towers, schools).
Supervising or mentoring apprentices.
Previous work with a recognized Calgary mechanical contractor.

WORKING CONDITIONS
Active commercial and multi-family construction sites across Calgary and area. Indoor and outdoor work depending on project phase. Frequent travel between job sites. Physical demands include lifting, bending, working at heights, and standing for extended periods.
