Juicy Birds is a fast-growing quick-service restaurant specializing in fresh, high-quality fried chicken, sandwiches, wraps, and signature menu items. We are looking for a motivated and experienced Supervisor to help lead our Kingston team and ensure exceptional customer service and operational excellence.
Position Summary
The Restaurant Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily restaurant operations, supporting team members, maintaining food quality standards, and ensuring an outstanding customer experience. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can effectively manage staff, customer concerns, and restaurant operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of restaurant staff during shifts
- Ensure exceptional customer service and promptly resolve customer concerns
- Train, coach, and support team members to achieve company standards
- Assist with scheduling and managing employee attendance
- Monitor food preparation and ensure quality, consistency, and food safety compliance
- Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and workplace safety standards
- Open and close the restaurant according to company procedures
- Handle cash management, deposits, and daily reporting
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies
- Support hiring and onboarding of new employees
- Ensure all company policies and procedures are followed
- Help achieve sales, labour, and operational targets
Qualifications
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience in the restaurant, food service, or hospitality industry
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Food Handler Certification is an asset

- Legally eligible to work in Canada
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs when required.

Pay: $17.60-$19.00 per hour
