Envision Counselling and Support Centre Inc. – Counselling Program Supervisor
Position Type: Full-Time Permanent
Hours of Work: 35 hrs/week
Key Responsibility Areas:
- Oversee service delivery to ensure alignment with funding agreements and organizational priorities
- Plan, support, and deliver programs aligned with mission, vision, and strategic plan
- Develop new initiatives and support continuous improvement
- Provide intake coverage, coordinate practicum placements, and support reporting processes
- Facilitate team meetings, maintain databases, and complete file reviews
- Recruit, onboard, supervise, and evaluate counselling staff
- Provide clinical support, debriefing, and professional development opportunities
- Monitor caseloads and program capacity
- Contribute to strategic planning and organizational growth
Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in social services or related field (preferred)
- Counselling and supervisory experience (required)
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and professional standards
- Strong understanding of counselling approaches (e.g., person-centered, strength-based)

Ideal Candidate:
- Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills
- Experience with crisis intervention, trauma, violence, or group facilitation
- Knowledge of mental health, addictions, family systems, and child development
- Understanding of GBA+ and commitment to Truth and Reconciliation
- Organized, reliable, and able to work independently and collaboratively
- Proficient with databases and reporting systems
