Solid Structure Works is looking for a reliable and hardworking General Labourer to assist with day-to-day construction and site work.
The role includes material handling, site preparation, cleanup, and assisting skilled trades on various construction projects.
This is a physically active position and is ideal for someone comfortable working with tools, equipment, and outdoor job sites.
Responsibilities
- Move construction materials, tools, and equipment
- Assist with general construction and renovation work
- Help with digging, cutting, lifting, loading, and site cleanup
- Support framing and other trades when required
- Operate basic hand and power tools safely
- Follow workplace safety procedures
- Perform general labor tasks assigned by the supervisor
Requirements
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Willing to work outdoors in different weather conditions
- Construction experience is an asset
- Framing or renovation experience is a strong asset
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment preferred
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
- Must be willing to travel and work on projects in different cities when required
Preferred Skills (Not Mandatory)
- Framing experience
- Drywall or demolition experience
- Experience using saws and construction tools
- Experience on residential or commercial construction sites
- Valid driver’s license is an asset
Schedule
- Day shifts
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend work available when needed
