Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Installation Technician to join our construction and renovation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing a variety of building components, ensuring quality workmanship, and adhering to safety standards. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from residential to commercial installations, utilizing a broad skill set including carpentry, masonry, plumbing, electrical work, and more. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately execute installation tasks.
- Install various building components such as cabinets, flooring, tile, siding, roofing, and rebar as specified in project plans.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and other equipment safely and effectively.
- Perform concrete forming, masonry work, drywall installation, caulking, and other related construction activities.
- Assist with framing, woodworking, cabinetry assembly, plumbing connections, electrical wiring, and general handyman tasks as needed.
- Conduct restoration work including surface preparation and finishing touches to meet project specifications.
- Measure materials and estimate quantities required for each project phase accurately.
- Ensure all installations comply with safety regulations and building codes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction-related roles such as carpentry, masonry, roofing, or general handyman work.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, construction estimating, and technical drawings.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, CNC machines (nice-to-have), and other relevant equipment.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work at heights or in confined spaces as required.
- Familiarity with concrete forming, tile laying, siding installation, rebar placement, electrical systems, plumbing fixtures, and flooring installation is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and quality workmanship.
- Ability to follow safety protocols diligently and maintain a safe working environment.
- Valid driver’s license is preferred for site travel; reliable transportation is necessary.
