Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class 1 Fuel Driver to join our team for a 7 on 7 off schedule. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting fuel to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining compliance with all safety regulations. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and professionalism in handling hazardous materials and operating heavy equipment.
Duties
- Safely operate Class 1 commercial vehicles to deliver fuel to designated sites while adhering to traffic laws and safety protocols.
- Load and unload fuel
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify any mechanical issues or safety concerns.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and reports for each trip.
- Assist with fueling operations, including refueling trucks and equipment as needed.
- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when required to ensure vehicle readiness.
- Follow all safety procedures related to the transportation of hazardous materials, including proper documentation and handling protocols.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered during routes.
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial driving, with a Class 1 license.
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and transportation regulations related to hazardous materials.
- Basic automotive repair skills for troubleshooting vehicle issues on the road or at the depot.
- Strong attention to detail for vehicle inspections, documentation, and safety compliance.
- Excellent communication skills for coordination with team members and clients.

Pay: $38.00-$42.00 per hour
