Job Summary
Singh Builders Ltd. is seeking a highly organized and detail‑oriented Construction Administrator to join our growing team. This role is essential to ensuring smooth operations across all new‑home construction projects. The Construction Administrator will be responsible for preparing work orders, coordinating with trades, managing documentation, and supporting the construction team with accurate and timely information.

Duties
- Prepare and issue work orders for all trades based on the specific requirements of each custom home.
- Coordinate and manage schedules for construction trades using our scheduling software to optimize workflow and timelines.
- Upload and maintain all project documentation, including floor plans, plot plans, specifications, and work orders within the construction software platform.
- Communicate effectively with site supervisors, trades, suppliers, and office staff to confirm schedules and resolve conflicts.
- Maintain accurate records of appointments, inspections, and project milestones.
- Assist in prioritizing tasks and deadlines to ensure timely completion of construction stages.
- Monitor schedule changes and proactively notify all relevant parties of updates.
- Collaborate with purchasing, estimating, and site teams to support smooth project execution.
- Provide general administrative support, including data entry, document management, and file organization.
Qualifications
- Experience in construction administration, scheduling, or a related administrative role is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with scheduling or construction management software; familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite is an asset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- High attention to detail and strong problem‑solving abilities.
- A proactive, solutions‑focused approach to managing workflow and resolving issues.
