Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced AZ Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles to transport freight across various locations. This role offers an opportunity to work with a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining high safety standards. Candidates with skills in forklift operation, heavy equipment handling, and automotive repair are encouraged to apply, as these skills will enhance their effectiveness in this role.
Duties
- Operate AZ-class vehicles (e.g., dump trucks, tractor-trailers, float trailers) safely and in accordance with provincial regulations
- Transport construction materials, aggregates, equipment, and tools to various job sites across Southern Ontario
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and complete required documentation (logbooks, inspection reports, etc.)
- Secure loads in compliance with safety standards and Ministry of Transportation (MTO) regulations
- Coordinate with site supervisors, dispatch, and project teams to ensure timely deliveries and pickups
- Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment as required
- Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of assigned vehicles
- Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and COR requirements
- Report any mechanical issues, incidents, or delays promptly
Experience
- Must be able to drive 18 speed manual transmission
- Valid AZ Commercial Driver’s License with a clean driving record
- Minimum 1 + years of experence
- Basic automotive repair knowledge is a plus for troubleshooting vehicle issues on the road
- Proven ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently

Pay: $20.00-$36.21 per hour
