Maverick Concrete Ltd is looking for skilled and versatile JOURNEYMEN/WOMEN carpenters to join our construction team. Duties
- Perform construction estimating to determine project costs, materials, and timelines accurately.
- Execute trim, frame, and metal stud carpentry with precision using hand tools and power tools.
- Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide installation and fabrication tasks.
- Conduct concrete forming, masonry work, plastering, caulking, and water damage restoration as needed.
- Use heavy lifting techniques safely while working on construction sites or restoration projects.
- Follow safety protocols at all times on construction sites to ensure a secure working environment.
Experience
- Prior experience in construction site work or restoration industry preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate. Experience with concrete is considered very valuable.
- Knowledge of carpentry disciplines including framing, trim carpentry, roofing, siding, cabinet installation, and door hanging.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading and schematics to interpret project plans effectively.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and fabrication equipment.
- Background in masonry, masonry repair or remodeling projects is advantageous.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail throughout various tasks.
- Strong understanding of safety standards related to construction and concrete.
