we are looking for a career-driven holistic skincare advisor. you are the primary face of the portia-ella experience. you have the opportunity to assist someone in their journey to clean, ethical, canadian made beauty. you are supporting women-led brands. you are the connector that builds community naturally with any and all clients that come through portia-ella.

responsibilities
- you are an expert and share your knowledge (and always learning!)
- you inspire clients to upgrade their skincare and makeup routine to ethical brands at portia-ella
- contribute positively to team goals and efforts through the art of sales and community building
- ensuring all boutique operations, including online orders, are completed effectively and timely
- maintain a visually beautiful, clean and well-stocked boutique
- represent portia-ella and yourself with gratitude and pride
- develop a wide range of skin knowledge (rosacea, acne, age spots, sensitivities, redness, etc.)
- you make it easy for clients to find what they need, when they need it. To do this efficiently:
- you keep a productive store and maximize your clients’ experiences
- actively participate in all merchandising activities including, but not limited to: stock counts, visual merchandising, organization and more
- organize and keep the boutique clean, take care of the plants (they need love too)
- clean and sanitize to the highest standard manage cash and card payments accurately

requirements
- 2-3 years retail experience
- 2-3 years customer service experience
- highly organized and detail-oriented
- you strive to be an expert and share your knowledge with your team
- you inspire the people around you to upgrade their skincare and makeup routine to ethical brands at portia-ella
- ensuring all your tasks and duties are completed effectively and timely with high attention to details
- represent portia-ella and yourself with gratitude and pride
preferred
- degree or diploma in business admin or related field
- 2-3 years administrative experience
- experience in the health or beauty industry
Pay: $17.00-$22.00 per hour
