Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Cabinetmaker to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the craftsmanship and production of custom cabinetry and woodwork projects, ensuring precision, quality, and timely delivery. As a leader in our woodworking division, you will coordinate with project managers, supervise skilled artisans, and uphold safety standards while fostering a collaborative work environment. Your expertise in carpentry, woodworking, and construction techniques will drive excellence across all projects, from initial blueprint interpretation to final installation. Duties
- Lead and supervise cabinetmaking teams to execute custom projects with accuracy and efficiency
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide production processes
- Oversee the use of hand tools, power tools, CNC machines, and other equipment to craft high-quality cabinetry and wood components
- Coordinate with project managers to ensure project timelines are met and specifications are adhered to
- Conduct quality inspections throughout the manufacturing process to maintain high standards of craftsmanship
- Manage inventory of materials such as wood, hardware, and finishing supplies; place orders as needed
- Assist with installation of cabinets and related woodworking elements on-site, including precise measurements and adjustments
- Enforce safety protocols on the shop floor to prevent accidents and promote a safe working environment
Requirements
- Extensive experience in carpentry, woodworking, or cabinetmaking with a strong portfolio of completed projects
- Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical drawings
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and other woodworking equipment
- Knowledge of construction techniques including drywall installation, flooring, tile laying, masonry, rebar installation, roofing, siding, caulking, plumbing, electrical work, and concrete forming is a plus
- Ability to lead teams effectively while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards
- Strong understanding of construction estimating processes and material calculations
- Physical ability for heavy lifting and standing for extended periods during manufacturing or installation tasks
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients effectively
- Additional skills such as restoration work or handyman experience are advantageous but not required

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
