Who are we searching for?
We currently have an opening for a full-time Plastic Welder to join our busy and growing team!
Job Duties
- Be able to handle tools to complete the plastic welding process
- Have the skills to weld, solder and cut plastic materials
- Ensure plastic containers are repaired properly and according to process requirements
- Good hand-eye coordination to complete accurate spot welding
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Other duties as may be assigned
Required Knowledge/ Experience:
- Demonstrate good organizational skills
- Know how to work safely
- Able to work in a team environment that is constantly working towards improving its processes and practices
- Able to follow instruction from supervisor
Work Conditions:
- Able to lift at least 50 lbs
- Manual dexterity to work on various projects
- 2 years Forklift experience required
- Overtime as required
- Able to identify any health and safety issues
- Prior experience with plastic welding is an asset
