Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Crew Member to join our landscaping and construction team. This role involves hands-on work in outdoor environments, supporting various projects related to landscape maintenance, gardening, irrigation, and construction. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work, possess mechanical aptitude, and be eager to contribute to maintaining and enhancing our clients' properties.
Duties
- Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, planting, and mulching
- Operate and maintain equipment such as excavators, hand tools, power tools, and irrigation systems
- Support gardening and horticulture activities to promote healthy plant growth
- Perform general construction tasks including site preparation, grading, and installation work
- Conduct routine inspections and minor repairs on equipment and irrigation systems
- Maintain cleanliness of work sites and ensure safety protocols are followed at all times
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively
Experience
- Prior experience with excavation equipment such as excavators is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Knowledge of irrigation systems, gardening practices, horticulture, or landscape maintenance is a plus
- Mechanical knowledge related to tools and equipment operation is advantageous
- Hands-on experience with hand tools and power tools used in construction or landscaping is desirable
- Background in maintenance or construction work will be beneficial for understanding project requirements
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks is essential
