SequentialHR is a boutique HR and recruiting firm that partners with small to mid-sized organizations on thoughtful, high-quality hiring. We’re looking for an experienced Technical Recruiter to support our engineering searches on a part-time basis.
This role is ideal for a recruiter who enjoys sourcing, early-stage candidate conversations, and providing insight into the engineering talent market — without the pressure of full-cycle sales or high-volume recruiting.
You’ll work closely with our lead recruiter to support engineering searches by identifying strong candidates, conducting prescreens, and preparing clear, professional candidate summaries for client review.
Source qualified engineering talent (electrical, mechanical, controls, instrumentation, automation, and related disciplines)
Provide market insight and input on sourcing strategies
Conduct initial prescreen calls to assess technical fit, communication style, and alignment with the role
Prepare concise, well-written candidate summaries
Support active searches with discretion, professionalism, and attention to detail
3+ years of recruiting experience, ideally in technical or engineering roles
Strong sourcing capability and comfort engaging passive candidates
Ability to hold credible, informed conversations with engineering professionals
Excellent written communication skills
Organized, self-directed, and comfortable working independently
Appreciation for boutique, relationship-based recruiting
Part-time commitment: 10–15 hours per week
Compensation: $45/hour
