Nestled between the wonder of the aurora borealis and the rugged nature of the northern frontier, our little brewing outpost is one of a kind. Located in the spirited town of Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, we’re proud to be Canada’s northernmost brewpub, featuring a 112-seat dining room and a seasonal patio in the heart of historic Old Town.
At NWT Brewing Company, we’re passionate about creating exceptional craft beers and serving up innovative, locally inspired cuisine in a warm and welcoming environment. Our brewpub, The Woodyard Brewhouse & Eatery was named one of Canada’s 50 Best Bars in 2018, and continues to build on a reputation for quality, community, and Northern hospitality.
We’re looking to add a skilled and motivated Line Cook to our crew.

Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
- Prep ingredients for daily service (e.g., chopping, butchering, sauces)
- Cook menu items during service with a focus on quality, speed, and consistency
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth, efficient service
- Maintain a clean, organized station and kitchen workspace
- Follow direction from the Head Chef and Sous Chef
- Safely operate a variety of kitchen equipment and tools
- Comply with all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude with coworkers and guests
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 years proven cooking experience in a professional kitchen
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail, strong work ethic, and reliability
- Passion for food, creativity, and continual improvement
