We are currently looking for a brake press operator.
MUST have Experienced at 2years
Responsibilities
1. Prepare machines for production/ Setup and operate:
2. Process parts as specified:
- studying job orders and applying knowledge of materials and processes to job needs
- Read shop drawing or blueprints
- Proper use of various types of measuring tools such as tape measure, Vernier caliper etc.
- checking quality as per work instructions and control plans
- Follow instructions
3. Ensure operation of equipment by:
- detecting and troubleshooting malfunctions
- inspecting parts
- completing preventative maintenance requirements as necessary
4. Locate materials and supplies and deliver to production areas by:
- learning warehouse set-up
- using material handling equipment such as forklift, etc.
5. Ensure safe and clean environment by:
- complying with safety rules and procedures
- doing general shop clean up and operation of floor sweeper as required.
6. Contribute to team effort by:
- performing related duties as instructed in a respectful manner.
- being available to work overtime when necessary.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND OTHER SKILLS
- high school diploma or equivalent
- manufacturing background
- shop math
- blueprint reading
- WHMIS
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour
