We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team specializing in Latin American Cuisine. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, measuring, and assembling ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen station following food safety protocols
- Ensure all food handling practices comply with health regulations
- Support the team in meal preparation during busy service hours
- Serve dishes promptly and courteously to customers or servers
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management
- Follow safety procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment
Qualifications
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards
- Strong understanding of serving, meal preparation, and food handling best practices
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings, as needed
