ONESource Moving Solutions (OSMS) is growing! We are looking for an EXPERIENCED MOVER for our office in Tecumseh.
Works with:
- ONESource clients and their families
- Moving companies and staff
- Retirement Residences and staff
- Other services involved in the move
- Other team members
Main Responsibilities:
- Wrapping, padding, lifting, carrying, moving furniture and boxed contents
- Loading and unloading moving trucks
- Preparing, packing and unpacking boxes, furniture and other items associated with the move
- Gathering items for packing
- Assisting the Team Leader with the organization of client possessions
- Attending regular staff meetings
- Other duties as assigned

- 1-5 years of experience with a professional moving company
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Team-focused mentality
- Physical fitness, flexibility, endurance and strength
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Experience working with older adults
- Excellent listening and response skills
- Tact and diplomacy
- Attention to health and safety

Important to Note:
- Post-secondary education an asset, but not required
- Valid Vulnerable Reference Check or willing to obtain one
- Proficiency in Microsoft and Google platforms
- Availability to work Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 5:00 pm
- Available for On-Call as needed
- Business experience and/or education is preferred
- Own transportation and a valid G driver’s license
- A resident in the local Tecumseh area (or willing to move)
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
