Overview
We are seeking a responsible and caring Dog Walker/Pet Sitter to join our team. This role involves providing attentive and reliable care for pets while their owners are away or busy. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals, excellent customer service skills, and a dependable nature. This position offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to make a positive impact on pet owners’ lives by ensuring their pets are well-cared for and happy.
Duties
- Take dogs for daily walks, ensuring they get proper exercise and mental stimulation
- Feed pets according to owner instructions and ensure they are comfortable and safe
- Administer medication or special care as directed by pet owners
- Monitor pets’ behavior and health, reporting any concerns to owners promptly
- Provide companionship and playtime to keep pets engaged and happy
- Maintain cleanliness of pet areas and ensure equipment is sanitized after use
- Follow specific instructions regarding feeding, walking routes, and other pet care routines
- Communicate with pet owners about their pets’ activities, behaviors, and any issues that arise during visits

- Ability to handle multiple pets of different sizes and temperaments safely
- Good physical stamina for walking dogs in various weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of pet health needs; experience with administering medication is a plus
- Responsible, trustworthy, and able to follow detailed instructions accurately
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
