Pizzatown Bedford is seeking a hardworking and enthusiastic Pizza Cook / Kitchen Team Member to join our team. This role involves preparing pizzas and other menu items, maintaining food quality standards, and ensuring a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Previous pizza-making or restaurant experience is an asset but not required. Training will be provided for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Prepare pizza dough, sauces, toppings, and other ingredients
- Assemble and cook pizzas according to Pizzatown standards
- Prepare menu items including appetizers, salads, and other food products
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain food quality, consistency, and presentation standards
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures
- Keep kitchen workstations, equipment, and storage areas clean and organized
- Restock ingredients and supplies as needed
- Work efficiently during busy periods and assist team members when required
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a pizza shop, restaurant, or food service environment is an asset
- Knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
