The Role
This is not a “manager” in the title only.
As a Zone Manager, you are responsible for:
- The performance of multiple crews in your geographic area
- Client satisfaction across your portfolio
- Estimating, Scheduling, logistics, and operational efficiency
- Identifying problems and fixing them before they escalate
You are the owner of your zone.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee multiple maintenance crews and crew leaders
- Own estimating, scheduling, routing, and job efficiency across your zone
- Conduct regular site visits and quality control checks
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Identify inefficiencies and improve systems/processes
- Support hiring, training, and development of staff
- Coordinate seasonal services including snow/salting operations
- Track performance metrics (time, quality, expenses, profitability)
What We’re Looking For
- Strong leadership and accountability mindset
- Highly organized and systems oriented
- Comfortable using apps/software for operations (paperless)
- Ability to manage multiple moving parts without losing control
- Experience in landscape maintenance (required)
- Experience managing teams (required)
