Qualifications:
- Successfully completed a recognized dental assisting program
- Certification from a Dental Assisting program, CDA I or II
- Experience preferred but not necessary
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; written and verbal, an ability to make patients feel comfortable and at ease.
- HARP Certification
- Tracker knowledge (not required but an asset)
Responsibilities:
- Supports all departments in the dental clinic by aligning individual contributions with those of the team. Performing all regulated duties under certification qualifications as a dental assistant
- Chairside Dental Assisting
- Preparation of the treatment/clinical area
- Instrument Set Up and Clean Up of Work Area
- Perform simple laboratory procedures
- Set up all necessary materials, and equipment
- Sterilization of instruments
