We are currently seeking an experienced and organized Senior Education Administrator to oversee academic administration, support campus operations, coordinate instructor recruitment, and enhance the overall student learning experience.
The Senior Education Administrator will play a key role in managing academic processes, ensuring effective program delivery, supporting instructor operations, and maintaining a high standard of student services. This position requires strong leadership, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate with students, instructors, and internal teams in a fast-paced educational environment.
Position Overview
The Senior Education Administrator is responsible for overseeing day-to-day academic administration and operational activities, including student services, instructor coordination, faculty recruitment, and program support. The successful candidate will work closely with management, admissions, marketing, and instructors to ensure programs are delivered effectively and meet institutional standards.
This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented professional who can manage multiple priorities, improve administrative processes, and contribute to the continued growth and success of the institution.
Key Responsibilities
Academic Operations & Administration
- Oversee daily academic administration and ensure smooth program operations
- Coordinate class schedules, instructor assignments, course materials, and academic resources
- Support student onboarding, orientation, registration, and completion processes
- Maintain accurate student records, documentation, and administrative files
- Monitor student attendance, academic progress, and completion status
- Address student and instructor inquiries professionally and efficiently
- Ensure administrative processes comply with institutional policies and regulatory requirements
Instructor Recruitment & Management
- Support the recruitment and hiring process for instructors, including posting job openings, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and assisting with selection decisions
- Maintain a pool of qualified instructors to support current and future program needs
- Coordinate instructor onboarding, including document collection, orientation, and system access setup
- Maintain instructor records, contracts, qualifications, and compliance documentation
- Support instructor scheduling and workload coordination
- Serve as a key point of contact for instructors and provide ongoing administrative support
- Gather instructor feedback and identify opportunities to improve teaching operations
Student Experience & Cross-Department Collaboration
- Provide high-quality support to students throughout their academic journey
- Collaborate with admissions, education sales, marketing, and finance teams to improve student experience and operational efficiency
- Support student events, orientations, information sessions, and campus activities
- Assist with internal reporting, audits, and operational reviews
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems, and service delivery
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in education administration, academic operations, student services, or a related field
- Experience working in a private career college, post-secondary institution, or adult education environment is strongly preferred
- Experience with instructor recruitment, hiring coordination, or faculty administration is an asset
- Strong understanding of academic administration processes and student support services
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with students, instructors, and internal teams
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience using student information systems, or administrative software is an asset
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to daily operations
- Fluent in English; additional languages are considered an asset
