RV Nation is looking for a dedicated and experienced Service Writer to join our team.
As a Service Writer and Operations Supervisor, you will be the primary point of contact for our service department, ensuring our customers receive top-notch service for their RVs and ensure that all service operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule service appointments and manage the service department's workflow
- Prepare detailed work orders (WO) by documenting symptoms, issues, and identified causes, along with the necessary repairs and services
- Coordinate with service technicians and monitor the progress of repairs and maintenance tasks, ensuring timely and quality service delivery
- Communicate with customers about service status, timelines, and costs, ensuring transparency and customer satisfaction.
- Checks warranty and service contract coverage by reviewing records and documents, and explains the provisions and exclusions to the customers.
- Prepare, submit, and follow up on warranty claims to manufacturers and service contract providers.
- Ensure all warranty claims are processed efficiently and accurately.
Qualifications:
- Mechanical knowledge to effectively communicate with technicians and customers
- Strong customer service and troubleshooting skills.
- Good communication skills to interact with customers and colleagues.
- Consideration will be given to candidates with Red Seal certification and valid Driver's License
