Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Helper to support our culinary team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Duties
- Assist with meal preparation and food handling to ensure timely service
- Support kitchen staff with basic cooking tasks and food assembly
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment in accordance with food safety standards
- Help with food storage, inventory management, and organization of supplies
- Ensure proper food safety procedures are followed at all times
- Assist in serving food to customers when needed
- Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of cooking techniques, meal preparation, and food safety practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and bending
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Food handling certification or willingness to obtain certification is a plus
