We are seeking a dedicated Part-time Breakfast Cook to join our team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook breakfast buffet items according to specifications and recipes
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety protocols
- Handle food with care, following proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination
- Assist with meal preparation tasks as needed, including chopping, assembling, and portioning ingredients
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to food industry standards
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy hours
Skills
- Experience in Buffet style serving, food preparation, and cooking within a restaurant or food service setting
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety regulations
- Ability to perform meal preparation efficiently while maintaining quality standards
- Strong understanding of kitchen operations and food industry best practices
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
- Ability to work part-time hours with flexibility during morning shifts
