We are seeking a strong room leading educator with direct child care experience in a licensed child care facility.
This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about a Reggio-Emilia approach to early learning, values meaningful relationships, and is excited to contribute to a collaborative and reflective team environment. As an Educator, you will play an important role in shaping children’s daily experiences, supporting their curiosity, and bringing pedagogy to life in thoughtful and intentional ways.

What You’ll Do
Create Meaningful Learning Experiences
- Support and implement emergent curriculum and inquiry-based learning
- Observe, document, and interpret children’s thinking and development
- Create engaging, responsive environments that reflect children’s interests
Build Strong Relationships
- Foster respectful, responsive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Communicate openly with families about children’s experiences and development
- Contribute to a welcoming, inclusive, and collaborative centre culture
Collaborate & Reflect
- Work alongside educators and Pedagogistas to deepen learning and practice
- Engage in ongoing reflection, dialogue, and professional growth
- Participate in team meetings, documentation, and curriculum planning
Support a Safe & Organized Environment
- Ensure compliance with Alberta Child Care Licensing and health & safety standards
- Maintain clean, organized, and thoughtfully prepared learning spaces
- Support daily routines with care, consistency, and intention
Who You Are
- A relationship-centered educator who leads with empathy and curiosity
- Passionate about early childhood education and child-led learning
- Reflective, collaborative, and open to continuous growth
- Aligned with Reggio Emilia philosophy and/or nature-based learning (or eager to learn)
- Someone who finds joy in curiosity, connection, and discovery
Qualifications
- Level 1, 2 or 3 Early Childhood Educator Certification (Alberta)
- Experience in a licensed child care setting (asset)
- Knowledge of emergent curriculum and pedagogical documentation (asset)
- First Aid & CPR Certificate (Level C)
- Police Clearance with Vulnerable Sector Search (within 6 months)
Role Information
- Toddlers, Bambini Hamptons (Edmonton), Monday–Friday, shifts between 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Full-Time, Permanent

Wage Information
The listed hourly wage is a starting point and does not include the Government of Alberta wage top-up. Educators will receive the appropriate top-up and base wage based on their level of certification. Final wages will be discussed further during the interview process.
