Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of meals by chopping, peeling, and cutting ingredients
- Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes
- Properly store food items and maintain inventory levels
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
- Clean and sanitize work areas, utensils, and equipment
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely meal preparation
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food preparation methods
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils
- Ability to follow recipes accurately
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
As a Prep Cook, you will play a crucial role in assisting the kitchen team with meal preparation. Your attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately will contribute to the overall success of our kitchen operations. Please note that this position may require standing for long periods of time and lifting heavy objects. Additionally, candidates must be comfortable working in a hot and fast-paced kitchen environment.
