The Magnorum Group is looking for an Accounting Clerk to join a team of professionals managing our heavy construction companies. The ideal candidate will be comfortable running bookkeeping processes for numerous companies independently, but working closely with a small head office team.
You will report directly to the General Manager and COO, and also be responsible to provide services to the Operational Managers of our various operating companies. The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience compiling and processing accounts payable
- Experience creating and tracking invoices and accounts receivable
- Knowledge of payroll systems, coding payroll runs, and setting up new employees
- Working knowledge of Quickbooks and Jonas accounting software systems
- Ability to run various financial management reports
- Experience handling a myriad of administrative tasks such as mail, filing, miscellaneous reporting, office materials ordering, etc.
- An unwavering attention to detail and the ability to work through the significant paper flow of a busy accounting department
