Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC lathes to produce precision parts that meet engineering specifications and strict quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC lathes to perform precision machining operations.
- Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
- Program CNC machines using G-code when required.
- Monitor machine operations, making adjustments to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Inspect finished parts to confirm they meet quality and dimensional standards.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot machine issues.
- Collaborate with team members to improve efficiency and optimize processes.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification or CNC machining training preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience operating CNC lathes in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings/blueprints.
- Proficiency with G-code programming and CNC operations.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
