Bring health care to where it’s needed most — and be part of a team that makes it happen at Rexdale Community Health Centre!
We are looking for 9-Month Mat Leave Coverage (ASAP Start)
$160.64/hour (OMA) | Flexible FT/PT | New-Grad Friendly
Want to practice family medicine the way you trained for — with time to do it well?
At Rexdale Community Health Centre, we work in a Community Health Centre (CHC) model — not fee-for-service — so you can spend the time you need with patients, address complex needs, and make a real difference. You’ll practice with an interprofessional team and strong admin/EMR support, serving a diverse community in North Etobicoke.
We’re recruiting a Family Physician for 9-month mat leave coverage (start ASAP) — an ideal “try it out” locum for new grads and early-career physicians.
Why physicians choose the CHC model at RCHC
- Longer appointments to fully address patient needs (medical + social determinants)
- Not fee-for-service — focus on quality care, not volume
- Team-based practice (you’re not managing complexity alone)
- Meaningful work with high personal fulfillment and community impact
- Team of Admins and other supports to help you focus on your role
Term & Schedule (flexible)
- 9-month temporary/locum (ASAP start)
