Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Construction Labourer to join our team. This role involves supporting various construction projects by assisting skilled tradespeople and performing general labor tasks on-site. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work safely in a dynamic environment. Prior experience with construction-related tasks is a plus but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
Duties
- Assist with the use of hand tools and power tools to support construction activities
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements
- Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure a secure work environment
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Skills
- Proficiency with hand tools and basic construction equipment
- Knowledge of construction processes, including grading, installing pipes, installing underground utilities
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and perform manual labor for extended periods
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions from supervisors
- Willingness to learn new skills
- Attention to detail to ensure quality workmanship and safety compliance
