Sausage Maker – Job Duties
- Prepare and process meat according to recipes and production specifications.
- Grind, season, and mix meat with spices and other ingredients.
- Operate sausage-making equipment, including grinders, mixers, stuffers, and smokehouses.
- Stuff sausage casings and tie or link sausages to required sizes.
- Monitor cooking, smoking, and curing processes to ensure product quality.
- Inspect raw materials and finished products for quality, freshness, and food safety.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and HACCP procedures at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organized production area and sanitize equipment regularly.
- Monitor inventory of ingredients and report shortages to supervisors.
- Package, label, and prepare finished products for storage or shipment.
- Perform routine equipment inspections and report maintenance issues.
- Adhere to workplace health and safety regulations while meeting daily production targets.
- Work collaboratively with production team members to ensure efficient operations.
- Maintain accurate production and quality control records.
Requirement:
- Need atleast 1 year experience
Pay: $23.00-$24.00 per hour
