Student Care is a group of eight established school-age care programs located in highly regarded elementary schools, providing quality and age-appropriate program experiences for groups of children and families since 1988.
Student Care is currently hiring full-time and part-time Before & After School Educators. We welcome applicants who hold Early Childhood Educator (ECE) Level 1, 2, or 3 certification, as well as individuals who are planning to enroll in an Early Childhood Education program. Hours can be full-time if the candidate would like to work lunchtime supervision, or part-time if the candidate would only like to work in the before and after school program.
Location 1: Calgary Arts Academy Elementary School - Knob Hill Campus (2036 20th Ave SW). The hours will be Monday to Friday 7:00 AM-9:00 AM, 11:30 AM-1:30 PM and 2:45 PM-6:00 PM (total 36.25 hours per week).
Location 2: Calgary Arts Academy Elementary School - Rosscarrock Campus (1406 - 40 Street SW). The hours will be Monday to Friday 7:00 AM-9:00 AM, 11:45 AM-1:45 PM and 2:45 PM-6:00 PM (total 36.25 hours per week).
**On non-school days, staff may be asked to work an 8-hour straight-through shift. If you have scheduling conflicts, we're happy to discuss your availability during the interview**.
The successful candidates will join an experienced team to implement the daily program plan which may include, but is not limited to, arts and crafts, science experiments, gross/fine motor activities both indoors and outdoors, homework support, engaging and supporting students who attend Kindergarten through Grade 6, and serving as an outstanding role model.

Pay: $17.00-$26.62 per hour
