About the Role:
Support Workers build meaningful relationships and provide day-to-day support that helps people live their best life. You’ll create safe, positive, and inclusive environments while encouraging independence and connection in the community.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide person-centered support based on each individual’s goals and routines
- Help with daily living activities (meals, appointments, personal care, etc.)
- Foster feelings of safety, respect, and belonging through Gentle Teaching
- Encourage choice, growth, and meaningful community involvement
- Keep accurate documentation and communicate effectively with your team
What We’re Looking For:
- A caring, patient, and respectful approach — relationships come first
- Flexible availability — must be able to work days, evenings, nights, overnights, and weekends
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector
- First Aid/CPR (or willing to obtain)
- Valid driver’s license (asset)
- Experience in disability support or human services is an asset, but not required — training provided
