AV Equipment Manager

Based out of our Mississauga head office, the AV Equipment Manager plays a critical role in ensuring our inventory is maintained, event-ready, and operating at peak performance. Step away from long days on-site and enjoy a primarily warehouse and office-based role with a more predictable schedule than traditional event production positions.

- Mississauga, Ontario (head office)
Your Day-to-Day:
- Maintain accurate records of equipment in FLEX Rental Solutions inventory management software, including storage, maintenance and purchasing
- Perform regular maintenance and coordinating repairs as needed
- Set-up and operate AV equipment for testing, training and events
- Troubleshoot to identify technical issues with equipment operation
- Track potential or known shortages, and coordinate substitutions or cross rentals with account / project managers
- Provide direction to in-house AV technicians to manage operational activities, pull, prep, scan, pack, return, clean and store all AV equipment
- Ensure AV warehouse is kept clean and organized
- Share ideas regarding new processes for AV managing systems both in software and in the warehouse
- Positively communicate and collaborate across all departments within the organization
You Might be a Great Fit if You Have…:
- Excellent English communication skills (in person, on the phone and via email)
- Organized and detail-oriented mindset with ability to effectively prioritise and problem-solve
- Strong understanding of AV equipment and functionalities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- 1+ years of experience using FLEX Rental Solutions inventory management software
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in live event production, AV equipment management, or technical audio-visual roles
- Experience leading, training, or coordinating technicians is considered an asset
- Experience with professional audio, video, projection, LED, switching, networking, and staging equipment is preferred

Pay: $58,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
