Kitchen Supervisor — Fenyk (Calgary)

About the Role
As Kitchen Supervisor at Fenyk, you'll oversee day-to-day kitchen operations at your location — leading the team, maintaining standards, and keeping the kitchen running smoothly while working the line alongside your crew.

Responsibilities
- Supervise and direct kitchen staff during shifts
- Train new staff on kitchen procedures, recipes, and standards
- Place and manage Sysco orders, including inventory tracking
- Work the line as a regular part of daily duties
- Organize and maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen
- Ensure food safety practices are followed at all times
- Support opening and closing kitchen duties
What We're Looking For
- Previous kitchen leadership or supervisory experience
- Food Safe certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work full-time hours, including some early mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Able to get to work reliably; living in or near your location's community is preferred
- Willing to work occasional overtime to cover shifts as needed
- Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Positive attitude and willingness to take on whatever task is needed, done to the best of their ability
