Maintenance Technician (Electro-Mechanical)
Role Overview: We are seeking a versatile Maintenance Worker with a dual-skill set in mechanical and electrical systems. You will be the go-to expert for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining complex production machinery—specifically extrusion lines—to ensure peak operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Integrated Troubleshooting: Repair and maintain electrical, electronic, and mechanical components (gearboxes, pumps, motors, and sensors).
- Preventative Maintenance: Execute scheduled PMs on machinery and facility systems to preemptively address wear and tear.
- Technical Interpretation: Read and interpret mechanical blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Systems Upgrades: Assist with equipment installations, hydraulic/pneumatic repairs, and electrical modifications.
- Safety & Compliance: Strictly adhere to Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and OSHA safety regulations.
- Downtime Mitigation: Partner with production teams to provide rapid-response repairs in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in industrial electrical and mechanical maintenance.
- Technical Breadth: Strong proficiency in mechanical drive systems (conveyors, bearings, seals) and electrical troubleshooting (up to 480V).
- Extrusion Priority: Direct experience with extrusion equipment is a significant asset and will be prioritized.
- Control Systems: Ability to diagnose and repair PLC-controlled equipment and VFDs.
- Problem-Solving: A "hands-on" mindset with high attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
