Who We’re Looking For
We are looking for a dynamic, resourceful, knowledgeable, and energetic self-starter to join our Calgary team as a Hiring Administrator.
This role is an entry level role, but is one of the most highly visible roles in the company since it deals with employees going to and from the field, supervisors, project managers, and a variety of management levels. As such, our ideal candidate would:
- Be involved in any hiring inquiries, requests, or follow-ups.
- Be diligent in the daily duties throughout the hiring life cycle which includes:
- Understanding project hiring requirements, placing ads for recruiting, receiving resumes, confirming potential hires with Project Managers, checking tickets, booking and following up on any required testing, understanding and booking client and/or site onboarding requirements, confirming travel arrangements (if required), and other administrative duties.
- Administer and coordinate responsibilities with other team members.
Our ideal candidate would also have the following skillsets:
- Must have a variety of communication skills (both verbally and written) and be able to effectively articulate with a variety of people.
- Must be adaptable, highly organized, work under pressure, and meet hard deadlines.
- Be able to identify, understand, and know where we are in the hiring process across multiple projects.
- Understand bottlenecks in procedures or 3rd party suppliers needs, and be able to mitigate issues with those bottlenecks.
- Make recommendations on procedural changes, for internal and external reporting and employee onboarding.
- Proficient with MSExcel, any other Hiring / Recruiting software is an asset.
- Work in a highly collaborative environment.
Other Information
We typically employ anywhere between 300 and 1000+ staff, depending on what projects we have on the go – so there is constant fluctuation in volume.
Schedule
- Monday to Friday
- 8:00am to 4:30pm
- This position works within our head office (in Calgary) and is not a “work from home” or “work remotely” role.
- Depending on project requirements or schedule changes, occasional work in the evening or on weekends may be required.
