GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Draft, organize, implement and maintain a Preventive Maintenance (PM) program for all plant production equipment.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Continually develop a realistic and achievable PM program by area and equipment type.
- Review equipment manuals to capture critical PM details.
- Review and maintain effectiveness of the program and ensure proper documentation is available for any possible audit purposes.
- Prioritize machines and schedule routine maintenance as necessary.
- Utilize appropriate planning tools (i.e. computerized maintenance systems, visual scheduling charts, etc.) for easy scheduling and tracking completion dates.
- Complete basic equipment/facilities work-orders and outside contractor work.
- Source, purchase and receive parts and supplies as required for repairs and shop stock.
- Improve organization and access to all machine manuals.
- Develop a parts inventory and parts re-order system to include spare parts and change parts.
- Do basic repair work as required.
- Comply with all GMP, SOP, and Safety Standards for HK Kolmar Canada.
QUALIFICATION REQUIRMENTS:
- College program or equivalent
- Industrial Millwright
- Previous experience with a PM program
