Our client is an established ICI construction firm specializing in commercial interior projects. Their work includes office renovations, commercial interiors, tenant improvements, institutional spaces, and occupied building projects.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager with experience managing commercial interior renovations, office fit-outs, tenant improvement projects, and fast-paced ICI work in occupied or active environments.
Manage ICI interior construction projects from start to finish.
Oversee project budgets, schedules, contracts, subcontracts, change orders, and documentation.
Coordinate with Site Superintendents, subcontractors, consultants, clients, building management, and internal teams.
Review drawings, specifications, scopes of work, RFIs, shop drawings, and project documents.
Lead project meetings and provide regular updates on schedule, budget, risks, and progress.
Manage procurement, trade tendering, subcontractor awards, and project buyout.
Track project costs, extras, change orders, billing, and overall financial performance.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to client expectations.
Support site teams with coordination, logistics, problem-solving, and issue resolution.
Maintain strong communication with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders.
Ensure all work is completed in accordance with drawings, specifications, building codes, safety standards, and company procedures.
Manage project closeout, deficiencies, occupancy requirements, warranty items, and final documentation.
Experience as a Project Manager within ICI construction.
Strong experience with commercial interiors, office renovations, tenant improvements, and/or institutional interior projects.
Strong understanding of construction budgets, schedules, contracts, drawings, specifications, and trade coordination.
Ability to manage multiple projects or fast-moving interior construction projects at once.
Experience working with Site Superintendents, subcontractors, consultants, clients, and building management teams.
Strong communication, leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage project financials, change orders, procurement, and client relationships.
Experience with occupied buildings, live commercial environments, or phased renovation work is considered an asset.
Post-secondary education in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field is considered an asset.
