Working within the mission, vision and values of Wing Kei, this position is accountable for the organization and delivery of food and supplies for meal service to residents. This includes providing a resident focused approach to food service delivery that is timely, safe, efficient, and cost effective.
THE ROLE
Qualifications
- Minimum grade 10 education or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year Kitchen/Cooking experience.
Work Hours
7.5 hours per shift or
3.5 to 5.5 hours per shift
THE INDIVIDUAL WHO WILL SUCCEED
- Performs all duties in relation to the preparation, serving and distribution of food.
- Maintains established food rotation in storage to minimize spoilage & waste.
- Maintains kitchen, kitchenettes & storage areas in orderly & sanitary manner.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
