Responsibilities
- Install residential, commercial, and industrial electrical systems
- Rough-in and finish electrical installations
- Install conduit, cable tray, wire, and electrical equipment
- Assist with service calls, renovations, and new construction
- Troubleshoot electrical systems and equipment
- Assist with motor controls, VFDs, control panels, and industrial equipment
- Read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Work professionally with customers, contractors, and team members
- Continue developing your skills under the guidance of experienced electricians
Qualifications & Experience
- Registered 309A Electrical Apprentice (all levels welcome)
- Valid G Driver's Licence with reliable transportation
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift materials and work in various environments and heights
Experience in any of the following is considered an asset:
- Residential wiring
- Commercial construction
- Industrial electrical
- Service work
- Motor controls
- PLCs
- Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)
- Robotics and automation
- Control panels
- Reading electrical drawings
- AutoCAD Electrical
