Overview
We have two openings for dedicated and skilled Line Cooks to join our culinary team. Firs opening in the restaurant, second opening for a solid cook to run our state odf the art Korean food truck. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry and a strong commitment to food safety and quality. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in meal preparation, ensuring that each dish is prepared to perfection and served promptly. This position requires a collaborative spirit and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations before and after service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling practices.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management.
- Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
- Including all duties given by the Executive Chef.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience as a Line Cook.
- Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety standards.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Familiarity with various kitchen equipment, including ovens, grills, fryers, and slicers.
- A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that delight customers.
