We are seeking experienced and dedicated Equipment Operators to join our Municipal Division for the 2026 season. We are hiring for multiple operator roles and are looking for individuals who are reliable, safety‑focused, and committed to quality workmanship. If you enjoy working outdoors, operating heavy equipment, and being part of a strong team, we encourage you to apply. Projects will be located throughout Alberta, and successful candidate must be available to spend extended time away from home.
What is the role?
Below is the combined list of responsibilities for current operator positions.
Skid Steer / Loader Operator
- Operate a skid steer
- Fill out equipment check list before shift
- Ensure that safety, compliance, environmental and DOT requirements are always followed
- Load and unload construction materials, move to work areas
- Support Equipment Operators and Co-workers
- Confirm material accuracy and documentation
- Oiling, greasing, and cleaning site equipment
- Other duties as assigned
Milling Operator
- Operate 2.0m, 1.0m, and 0.5m machines competently
- Daily Maintenance on Milling Machine (Grease machine, Change Teeth as required)
- Monitor depths and consistency of milling pattern
- Some physical labourer required
What do we value?
Skid Steer/Loader Operator
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Skid steer operator
- Must have a valid driver’s license (class 5)
- Must be physically able to perform all physical action pertinent to the equipment they operate
- Extensive knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions applicable to the work
Milling Operator
- Milling operation experience an asset
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
- Work well in a team environment
- Punctual and dependable
